Six children and three adults were involved in an accident occurring at the intersection of Kennett and Seventh Streets on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred as a Ford Explorer and a Buick Park Avenue collided in the intersection. During the collision, the rear passenger door of the Ford Explorer was ripped from the frame of the vehicle.

The three adults and six children involved in the accident showed no apparent injuries, according to the Kennett Police Department.
