Jimmie Moore

Jimmie C. Moore, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., entered into rest on Nov. 2, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Moore was born on Nov. 6, 1944 in Kennett. He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff and an investigator for the State of Missouri. He was a state highway patrolman, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Three Rivers Shrine Club, Poplar Bluff Blue Lodge #209 and the Poplar Bluff Elks. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in Vietnam, enjoyed golfing, and was of the Baptist faith.

On March 29, 1984 in Las Vegas, he married Carole A. McFadden, who survives.

Other survivors include one son, Michael Harget, of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Jennifer Moore Prime and husband, Kimble, of Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Sandra Johnson and husband, Gaylon, of Louisiana and one granddaughter, Kristen Balliet of Sarasota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Margie Moore and two brothers, Terry Moore and Joe Moore.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 4, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.

Burial in the Senath Cemetery.

Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff and McDaniel Funeral Service in Senath were in charge of arrangements.
