Dorothy Jean Tuberville, 71, of Marmaduke, Ark., passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Dorothy, daughter of the late Charles W. Holland and Pearl K. Young Holland, was born Oct. 17, 1938 in Rector, Ark.
She married Leslie Ellis in 1958, who preceded her in death. Dorothy married William J. Tuberville on April 3, 1998.
Survivors include her husband, William J. Tuberville, of Marmaduke; four sons, Jerry D. Ellis and wife, Janet, of Kennett, William S. Tuberville, Jr. and wife, Donna, of Marmaduke, Bo Tuberville, of Paragould, Ark., and Bruce Wallace and wife, Tammy, of Marmaduke; a step-son, Grady Odell Ellis and wife, Deborah, of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters, Juanita Rose Stone, of Gideon, Mo., Brenda D. Davis and husband, David, of Gideon, and Dorothy Wallace and husband, Don, of Marmaduke; granddaughters, Amy Sharp, of Kennett and Nikkie Lowry, of Gideon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; four sisters, Nancy M. McCarthy and husband, Chuck, of Kennett, Carolyn S. Smith and husband, Donald, of Kennett, Orilla K. McDonald, of Piggott, and Joanna L. Burr and husband, Bruce, of Kennett and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with service being held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5th at McDaniel Chapel with Rev. Bill Nunally officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Joe Williams, Scott Lowry, Bob Sharp, Justin Tuberville, Nathan Tuberville and Bruce Wallace.
