Robert Stanley "Bob" Adams, 50, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Kennett, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in Nashville.
Born Jan. 7, 1959, in Kennett, son of Norma Lewallen and the late Earl Lewallen, he was a 1977 graduate of Holcomb High School, a 1982 graduate of University of Missouri Columbia School of Nursing, and a 1985 Post Grad-Masters Degree in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. He was employed at University Vanderbilt Hospital for 26 years.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Lewallen, of Kennett; two brothers, Levon Lewallen, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ronald Dale Lewallen, of Holcomb, Mo., and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector, Ark.
Pallbearers are Johnathan Haddon, Guy Haddon, Jamie Adams, Michael Adams, Brian Hicks, Ronnie Lewallen, Jr., and Kathy Adams Holder.
Honorary pallbearers are Julie Goodwin and Claudia Tate, both of Nashville, Heather Collins, of Franklin, Tenn., Jana Adams Abdella, of Lake Orin, Mich., and Dana Adams Wilson, of Wynn, Ark.
