Shelby Jean Rebstock, of Kennett, daughter of the late Henry Wallace and Wanda Bulla Wallace, was born Dec. 30, 1940 in Kennett and departed this life Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 26 days.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kennett.
Shelby married Troy Rebstock on June 23, 1956.
Survivors include her husband, Troy Rebstock of Kennett; one son, Rick Rebstock and his wife, Carla, of Dyersburg, Tenn.; four daughters, Connie Burns and husband, Jamie, of Springfield, Mo., Vicki Emmons and her husband, Keith, of Holcomb, Mo., Beverly Stillman and her husband, Joe, of Kennett, and Jamie Damron and her husband, Brian, of Brandenburg, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Wallace, of Ocala, Fla., and other relatives and many friends.
Shelby was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Allen Rebstock, and a brother, Jerry Wallace.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 28, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with service being held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 29 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Chris Maynard and Johnny Bogle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Justin and Brandon Damron, Adrian Rebstock, Dwight and Jeffrey Emmons and Thomas Stillman.
