James Paul Johnson, 48, of Holcomb, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, as a result of an auto accident in Clarkton, Mo.

Born June 20, 1961, in South Haven, Mich., son of Patsy Keating and the late Robert Lee Johnson, he was a U.S. Army retired veteran.

He married Sophy Lem, who survives.

Survivors include his wife, Sophy Johnson, of Holcomb; three children, Jamie Johnson and Desiree Johnson, both of Guam and Skyler Johnson, of Holcomb; his mother, Patsy Keating, of Gibson, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Johnson, of Gibson and Lee Johnson, of Iowa, and one sister, Tracy York, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Johnson; a son, Jonathan Johnson; a brother, Carl Johnson and a sister, Paula Johnson.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Dubar officiating.

Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cem-etery at Campbell.
