Amanda Kennedy

Amanda Shonta Kennedy, of Campbell, Mo., daughter of Robert Kennedy and Angela Skaggs Venters, was born May 29, 1987 in Dallas, Texas and departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at the age of 22 years, 4 months and 25 days, at Holcomb.

Survivors include her father, Robert Kennedy, of Dallas, Texas; her mother, Angela Venters, of Campbell, Mo.; one daughter, Kaitlyn Kennedy, of Holcomb, Mo.; one sister, Amber Mills, of Campbell, Mo.; step-father, Jessie Shore III, of Campbell, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 27, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with service being held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Bartholomew officiating.

Burial will follow in the Woodlawn-Landess Cemetery at Campbell, Mo.

Pallbearers are Corey, Jerry, Stacy, Johnny and Billy Skaggs and Marty Samples.
