Jerry Vaughn

Jerry D. Vaughn, son of Virgil and Norene Delaney Vaughn, was born Dec. 30, 1944 in Cardwell, Mo., and passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 64.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in Vietnam.

Mr. Vaughn is married to Linda, who survives.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Vaughn, of Kennett; one sister, Rosemary Purvis and husband, Al, of Senath, Mo.; a step-son, Fred Treadway, of O'Fallon, Mo., and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Ann Murphy.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26, in the Senath Cemetery with Rev. Lavon Smart officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath was in charge of arrangements.
