Chris and Tammy Sullivan of Kennett announce the birth of their daughter, Alyssa Jane Sullivan, born Oct. 12 , 2009 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

She weighed 8 pounds and 4 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of James and Janie Angel of Kennett, Gene Sullivan of Gosnell, Ark., and Pat Lampley of Blytheville, Ark.., the step-granddaughter of Karen Sullivan of Gosnell, and J. D. Lampley of Blytheville, and the great-granddaughter of John and Dolly Angel of Kennett, the late Ruby and Wayne Pruitt of Holcomb, Mo., Opal and the late Arlon Sullivan of Montgomery, Ala., the late Junior Parish of Blytheville, and Jeanie and the late Jackie Canimore of Blytheville.

She is welcomed home by her big sister, Sierra Angel Sullivan.
