Born Dec. 19, 1932, in Kennett, son of the late Joel H. Hancock and Maudie Bell Hancock, he served our country in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired manager from Boeing-Vertol after many years of employment.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia M. Hancock, of Social Circle; daughters, Karen Riley and Cheryl Spare, and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Monroe Church of Christ, where he was a member.
