Makenna Nixon

Chad and Rachel Nixon of Chaffee, Mo., announce the birth of their daughter, Makenna Lynn Nixon, born Sept. 30, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces and was 19 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of James and Marla Ward of Kennett and Gary and Kay Nixon of Deering, Mo., and the great-granddaughter of Rosemary Marshall and the late Joe Marshall of Kennett, the late Eugene and Opal Ward of Gibson, Mo., Alma Jean Nixon and the late Lee Nixon of Kennett, the late Clay and Pauline Mayberry of Bragg City, Mo., Ted and Mildred Richardson of Indiana and the late Clint Mayberry of Texas.
