Boyd Hicks

Born Aug. 11, 1946, in Bono, Ark., son of the late Carl Edmond and Ruby Messer Hicks, he was a residential painter.

Survivors include one son, Boyd Wayne Hicks, Jr., of Piedmont, Mo.; two daughters, Kim Lyell, of Campbell, Mo., and Rose Davis, of Kennett; one sister, Coletta Chandler, of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Hicks; one brother, George Hicks and one sister, Carlene Williams.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Walcott, Ark., with Jim Johnson officiating.

Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
