Lorene Hamlett

Lorene Hamlett, 92, of Oceanside, Calif., formerly of Kennett, passed away June 25, 2009 in Oceanside.

Daughter of the late David Kincannon and Florence Kincannon, she was born Dec. 14, 1916 in Hollywood, Mo.

Lorene married Lloyd Hamlett on Jan. 19, 1932, in Kennett. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Jones, of Oceanside; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with family member Conn Hamlett officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett is in charge of the arrangements.
