According to Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder, at approximately 1:30 p.m., on Oct. 1, the department received a call stating that a subject was at Windy Acres, just south of Holcomb, Mo., on Highway 25, and was threatening individuals with a knife.
Holder said his department and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene where, upon arrival, they took Brandon Leslie, 36, of Holcomb, into custody.
Leslie was arrested and incarcerated at the Dunklin County Justice Center on a $30,000 bond, which he posted on Friday.
According to Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen P. Sokoloff, Leslie is being charged with the Class D felony of unlawful use of a weapon and, if convicted, could face a penalty of up to four years in prison.
