Eueldean Culver, 70, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Portageville, Mo.
Born Jan. 20, 1930, in Portageville, daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Stover Anglin, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Oasis Worship Center. She was a homemaker, who had a green thumb and loved to garden. She also loved to crochet, read, and had no fear to speak her mind.
On June 20, 1966, in Piggott, Ark., she married Robert B. Culver, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Floyd and Ray Anglin; a daughter, Robin Dewanda Welch and two step-sons, William Delano and Coy Alton Welch.
Survivors include her children, Terry Lynn Welch, Sr., and wife, Luella, of Portageville, Cletus Martin Welch and wife, Margaret, and Marty Culver and wife, Tina, all of Hayti, Barbara Lebo and husband, Jimmy, of Kennett, Edwin Gale Welch and wife, Kim, of Puxico, Mo., and James Ernest Welch and wife, Judy, of Blytheville, Ark.; adopted from heart, Ellen Ann Bolton, of Hayti; a sister, Darlene Childers, of Hayti; a brother, Basil Anglin, of Moorehaven, Fla.; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, at John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors James Robert Welch and Karen Hartung officiating.
Burial will follow in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo.
Pallbearers are Larry Jordan, Bruce Sams, Jeff Boone, Adam Sipes, Tom Hill and John Kincade.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris and Allen Jarboe, Steven Welch, Gale Welch, Jr., and Mike Street.
