A nine-year veteran of 'Disney on Ice' will be one of the featured performers for "Worlds of Fantasy" which will be presented the weekend of September 25 through 27, at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn.

Josh Bindon, who has been involved in skating since the 1980's, is currently performing in his 9th season with Disney on Ice.

Bindon's skating accomplishments include, Junior Competitive Test and Gold Freeskate.

He noted that one of the benefits of the company is the ability to travel the world and perform in front of 1,000's of people.

During the program, "Worlds of Fantasy," Bindon portrays several different characters including one of Tinker Bell's friends.

"We are very excited to come to Memphis," Bindon said. "People who show up early to the show may have the opportunity to meet a real princess."

The "Worlds of Fantasy," will feature four locations, including Pixie Hollow, which will host the story of how Tinker Bell comes to life and fairies prepare for spring.

Producer Nicole Feld said, "To be the first to have introduced the Tinker Bell story live on ice is incredible, and we are thrilled to bring this magical tale to families across North America. The arena instantly transforms into Pixie Hollow as we reveal the secrets of nature to our audiences with an explosion of color and magical talents."

The program will include the four completely different Disney worlds of Tinker Bell, Cars, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King.

"All of this combined with a Disney Princess pre-show experience, provides a value that is truly unparalleled in the world of live family entertainment," Producer Kennett Feld said.

Prior to each performance, families are treated to the Disney Princess Pre-Show complimentary with ticket purchase, which begins approximately one hour prior to show time. A Disney Princess presides over a dazzling display of gorgeous gowns and mementos from the Disney Princess stories, providing a beautiful setting for photo opportunities, according to Disney on Ice representatives.

Characters represented in the production include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Sally Flo, Ramone, Tinkerbell, and friends.

"Our re-creation of Pixie Hollow and the visual splendor on the ice sets the stage for the magical and diverse cast of Disney Fairies," Producer Nicole Feld said. "Audiences will get to see the fairies live as we open the door to this mystical fairy world deep in the heart of Never Land and unveil the secrets that lie within."

The productions will be presented on four different occasions including; at 7 p.m., Friday, September 25; at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 26; at 6 p.m., Saturday, September 26; and at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 27.
