Kennett's Jamie Jarrett dives to dig up a ball during the second set of Monday's high school volleyball game against Campbell at Kennett High School.
Mission accomplished, so far.
With Bootheel Conference battles against Senath-Hornersville and Portageville looming later, the Lady Tribe got strong serving and dominated in a 25-8, 25-10 win over the Campbell Lady Campbell Monday night.

Jody Vancil led the way with four aces, while Chrisie Burrow and Jamie Jarrett each added three and Ciara Dewrock chipped in two.
"We served the ball well," Kennett coach Laura Ort said. "I think we had a little momentum coming off the weekend. We just kind of let it carry us through the game (Monday). They all played well from start to finish."
Dewrock and Audrey Wynne each added six kills, while Vancil chipped in four, Taylor Wake tossed in three and Jarrett finished with two. Dewrock and Vancil each had four digs, while Burrow dished off 17 assists and Wynne blocked a pair of shots.
Kennett heads to Senath-Hornersville tonight to face the Lady Lions in a key Bootheel Conference battle.
"It'll be fun," said Ort. "Going there is what volleyball is about -- to go in there and compete. We'll be ready for them and they'll be ready for us. It'll be a fun, good volleyball match and it'll be a good atmosphere."
Over the weekend, Kennett took second in the Silver Division at the 48-team SEMO Spike Classic.
In pool play, the Lady Tribe went 1-1-1, defeating Southland, splitting with St. Elizabeth and losing to Class 1 power Leopold, finishing second in the pool and advancing into the Silver Bracket.
Once there, Kennett downed Holcomb and New Haven to reach the semifinals and face Notre Dame of St. Louis. There the Lady Indians rallied back from a 25-4 loss in the opening set to win the match in three games -- taking Game Three on a Mallory Brown ace -- and advance to the bracket final against Advance.
Kennett lost in the finals to Advance.
"We played well (at the SEMO Spike)," Ort said. " We competed against some really good teams. We showed a lot of character at times to dig ourselves out of a hole."
