Jeff Anglin and Leah Madden

Leah Madden of Kennett and Jeff Anglin of Poplar Bluff, Mo., announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and the late Tim Madden of Kennett the granddaughter of Shirley and Omer Gaskins and the late Mary and Tom Madden of Kennett.

She is a 2004 graduate of Kennett High School and Hannibal LaGrange College, where she received her degree in Elementary Education. She is currently employed as a fifth grade teacher at Sikeston Public School in Sikeston, Mo.

He is the son of Jim and Elaine Anglin of Doniphan, Mo. and the grandson of the late Joyce Weston, the late Lyda Sanders and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elvy Anglin.

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Doniphan High School and Freed-Hardeman University. He is currently employed as a physician recruiter at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

The wedding will take place Oct. 10, 2009, at Westwood Center and Ballroom in Poplar Bluff.
