She was a long-term employee of Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center, where she worked well into her 70's before retiring a few years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Walsh and husband, John, of Redlands, Calif., and Teddy Allen and husband, Jerry, of El Paso, Ark.; two sons, Terry Farrell and wife, Carol, of Eureka, Mo., and Greg Farrell, of Kennett; nine grandchildren, Matthew Walsh, Caitlin Walsh, Jeremy Allen, Teresa Stubblefield, Mendy Farrell, Dana Farrell, Nikkie Farrell, Teah Jones and Tara Bolin; six great-grandchildren, Alex Tessman, Cory Tessman, Caleb Allen, Danielle Cauthorn, Amy Cauthorn, and Mac Schlag; one sister, Dorothy Purvis, of Kennett, and several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and friend to many, and dearly loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold DePriest, and two sisters, Ruby Manley and Nell Harmon.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. John Walsh officiating.
Pallbearers are Jerry Allen, Matthew Walsh, Kevin Wischmeyer, Paul Clark, Jerry Jones and Sonny Bolin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
