Chester Fox

Chester Fox, son of the late Luther Fox and Altha (Kelso) Fox, was born January 6, 1933, in Kennett, Mo., and departed this life on August 26, 2009, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 20 days.

Fox is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Dow, and husband David, of Columbia, Mo., and Susan Chism, and husband Jerry, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Sue Chism, of Cape Girardeau, Tyler David and Tiffany Dawn Dow, of Columbia, Mo.; four sisters, Esther Chapin Yorktown, of Virginia, Florence Davis and Margie Jackson, of Kennett, and Murles Jackson, of Michigan; special friend, Brenda Brotherton, of Senath, Mo.; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Fox and two sisters.

Services were held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, August 29, at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Jody McFadden officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Freddy Flores, Zachary Scott, Bryan Brotherton, Utah Henson, Dickey Karnes, David Davis, and Ed Mock.
