Locke Whitaker

Ashley Collins and C.J. Whitaker of Pascola, Mo., announce the birth of their son, Locke Woodrow Whitaker, born Aug. 3, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

He weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He is the grandson of Penny Prince and Keith Trosper of Gideon, Mo., and Margaret Whitaker and Clinton Whitaker of Arbyrd, Mo.
