Jackie Sue Woods, daughter of the late Grady L. Hogan and Francis Elease Mitchell Hogan, was born May 30, 1949 in Dunklin County, Missouri and departed this life on Aug. 1, 2009.
Jackie married Robert Dale Woods on Dec. 12, 1971 in Bragg City, Mo. Robert preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1978. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harold and Bobby Hogan.
Survivors include one son, Jason Woods, of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Michelle Jensen and husband, Kent of Bragg City; six grandchildren, Payton Clark, Justin Woods, Lauren Woods and Colton Woods of Punkin Center, Mo., and Makon and Ethan Jensen, both of Bragg City; three brothers, T.L. Hogan and wife, Maxine, of Deering, Mo., Billy Hogan and wife, Sue of Gobler, Mo., Larry Hogan and wife, Ronda, of Oakland, Tenn.; four sisters, Marie Hughes, of Memphis, Tenn., Carolyn Bond and husband, Richard, of Cordova, Tenn., Elaine Simmons and husband, Bobby of Kennett; Joyce Hargrove and husband, P.A., of Kennett; foster sister, Carolyn Edwards, of Kennett; beloved nieces, nephews, Woods and Hogan families; special in-laws, Gary and Sherri Woods, of St. Louis, Mo., Vickie and Dan Parker, of Imperial, Mo., and Venita Woods.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 2.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 3, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Reverend O.H. Brooks officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden, Mo.
Pallbearers were Benny, Johnny Paul, Anthony and Robert Allen Hogan, T.J. Stivers and Rick Parker.
