Bethel Wilburn

Bethel D. Wilburn, son of the late Harry Wilburn and Luna Sanders-Wilburn, was born September 22, 1919 at Greenway, Ark., and departed this life on July 31, 2009.

Bethel married Mary Lee Noblin. Mary Lee preceded him in death on February 17, 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Gerry Wilburn, and wife Judy, of Tulsa, Okla., and Larry Wilburn of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Paula Bickerstaff, and husband Kerry, of Tyler, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Bethel was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bonnie Jolene Wilburn.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, at McDaniel Chapel of Kennett.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, at McDaniel Chapel with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Kennett.
