Aja Mead

Terrel and Porsha Mead announce the birth of their daughter, Aja Brielle Mead, born April 7, 2009, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark.

She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Anthony and Darlene Malone and Leon and Anita Tye, all of Blytheville, and the great-granddaughter of the late Daisy Williams, Cleaster Taylor and Harvey Mead and Lequetcha Thigpen of Arkadelphia, Ark., Rev. Burton and Althea Furlow of Blytheville and Ada Williams of Kennett.
