Matthew and Lorie Coomer Veazey of Searcy, Ark., announce the birth of their twins, Charles Matthew and Maggie Belle Veazey, born July 2, 2009, at White County Medical Center in Searcy.

Charlie weighed 7 pounds. 12 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long. Maggie weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

They are the grandchildren of Steve and Terry Niederkorn of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Bud and Joann Veazey of Cotton Plant, Ark.
