Naomi Malady

Naomi Ruth Malady, 70, daughter of the late Chester Lance and Jetta Pearl Parmer Lance, was born May 17, 1939 in Stoddard County, Mo., and departed this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.

Naomi married J. C. Malady Nov. 23, 1961. J.C. preceded her in death on June 13, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Malady.

Naomi was a 20 year member of the Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, John Malady, of Kennett; one daughter, Melissa Malady, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Terenia Malady, Jordan Malady and Miranda Wood, all of Kennett; three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Makenzie and Coleton Armstrong, all of Kennett; three sisters, Sue Page, Judy Davis and Jan Irwin, all of Kennett, and one brother, Doyle Lance of Ironton, Mo.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, July 15, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with a services being held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 16 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Lee Weeks officiating.
