Royce Lee Southerland, 39, son of Royce Wayne Southerland and Linda Mallett Casteel, was born September 27, 1969, in Little Rock, Ark., and passed away July 7, 2009, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Casteel, of Senath, Mo.; his father, Royce Wayne Southerland, of Baxley, Ga.; two sons, James Lee Southerland, of England, Ark.; and Royce Lee Southerland, of Senath; one daughter, Jessica Southerland, of Campbell, Mo.; one brother, Scott Durica, of Concorde, N.H.; four sisters, Rita Haywood, of Kennett; Tracy Dyess and Alisa Southerland, both of Lackland, Fla.; and Lillian Stevens of Paplo, Colo.; and his fiancee, Loretta Queen, of Senath, and her children, Alissa and Anthony Queen.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Sunday, at the Senath Cemetery and were officiated by the Reverend Lee Weeks.
Pallbearers were Royce Southerland, Jr., Jeremy McCain, Aaron Samples ,Billy Jack Turner, Michael Sweatt, and Robin Mitchell.
