Lanora Kennett

Lanora Shaw Kennett, 89, retired secretary and receptionist, died July 6, 2009, at Southhaven, Miss.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, July 9, at the Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando, Miss. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m., in Hornersville, Mo.

She leaves one daughter, Jonnie Whittle, of Hernando; one son, Earl Wayne Kennett, of Germantown, Md.; and four grandchildren, Chandra, Zack, Janie, and Norie.

In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to the Hernando United Methodist Church or Wesley Meadows Retirement Home.

Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando was in charge of all arrangements.
