Barbara Sue Burdin Davis

Barbara Sue Burdin Davis, daughter of the late Ira Burdin and Opal Goldsmith Burdin, was born December 4, 1950 in Rector, Ark., and departed this life on July 5, 2009, at the age of 58 years, seven months, and one day.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Don Davis, of Kennett; two daughters, Krishanne Morgan, of Kennett; Miranda Davis, of Kennett; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dwight Burdin, of North Carolina; Tim Jones, of Kennett; one sister, Dian Jones, of Kennett; and other relatives and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry Johnson, Lyndol, Wendell, Jimmy, and Joe Burdin; and two sisters, Myrna Parks and Lavern Guthrie.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday, July 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, with services being at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Weaks officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Barbara was of Kennett and passed away July 5, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
