Joann Weber

Funeral services for 61-year-old Joann Weber, of Rector, Ark., who passed away on July 3, 2009, at her residence, after a long illness with cancer, was held at 2 p.m., on Monday, July 6, in the Rector General Baptist Church with Brother Marston Carpenter officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weber was a registered nurse and had worked many years in the medical field.

Mrs. Weber was born on April 1, 1948, to the late B. D. and Pearl Midkiff Beaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nell Beaton; two brothers, Dewayne and J. W. Beaton; an infant sister, Mary Beaton; and Linda Springmeyer.

Survivors are her loving husband, Dennis Weber of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Hae Sun Weber, of Rector; a daughter, Charla Weber, of Rector; two grandsons, Mitchell and Reed Weber; three sisters, Dortha Weatherford, of Rector; Ima Jean Hall, of Lindsey, Calif., and Bobby Simpson, of St. Louis, Mo.

Visitation was held at 6 p.m., on Sunday, July 5, in the Rector General Baptist Church.
