She is survived by her mother, Goldia Burdin, of Kennett; two brothers, Billy Burdin and wife, Diane, of Rector, and Ricky Burdin and wife, Alicia, of Kennett, and a sister, Carolyn Hunter, of Kennett. She also leaves behind three children, Greg Watts and wife, Gena, of Blytheville, Ark., Kevin Watts, of Kennett, and Lisa Waltrip and husband, Daniel, of Bernie, Mo. MeMaw will be missed dearly by her precious grandchildren, Will and Kaylee Watts, both of Kennett. She will also be missed by a special friend, Billy Jackson, of Kennett.
She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Burdin and brothers, Roger Dale Burdin and Jackie Burdin.
Mary Jane worked several years at Ely Walker Shirt Factory before devoting her time as a housewife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and listening to country and 50's music. She was always smiling, and loved to make people laugh. She was especially a wonderful best friend and sister to her younger sister, Carolyn.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, June 24, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 25, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles P. James officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Tommy Campbell, Glen Harris, Stephen Ragins, George Yarbro, Tim Alsup and Louis Thompson.
