Dustin and Tiffany Harris of Kennett announce the birth of their son, Maddox Jay Harris, born April 24, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

He weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He is the grandson of Bruce and Tammy Wallace and Glen and Dianna Harris and the great-grandson of Harold and Sandra Rushing, Jerry and Tina Wallace, William and Dorothy Tuberville, Harold and the late Ava Wrinkle, the late E.H. "Earl" and Myrtle Harris, the late J.T. Nettles and Verneva Nettles, and Don and Gene Haddon.

He is welcomed home by big brother, Carter Reed, age 3.
