Ronald Mack Bibbs, 81, of Hornersville, Mo., died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at his residence.

Born May 2, 1928, in Paragould, Ark., son of the late Burl and Hazel Levins Bibbs, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Bibbs Trucking, a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church and the American Legion of Hornersville.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Long, of Cordova, Tenn.; one brother, Harold Bibbs, of Hornersville; one sister, Ruth Greer, of Hornersville, and two grandchildren, Andrew Long of Warner Robins, Ga., and Allison Long, of Memphis, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leland, Lindell and Dallas Bibbs.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at the Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 31, at the Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.

Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery.
