Sharon Diane Rice Maccune, 45, of Manila, Ark., died Friday, May 22, 2009, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Sept. 25, 1963, in Malden, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Gennie Stacy and Virginia Joyce Barnes Rice.
On Sept. 22, 2006, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Danny Maccune, who survives.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Maccune, of Manila; seven sons, Lonnie Rice and Adam Smith, both of Pullman, Mich., Christopher Holtsclaw, of Harlingen, Texas, Danny Maccune, Jr., and Brian Maccune, both of Manila, and Jacob J.C. Martin and Brandon Martin, both of Paragould, Ark.; one daughter, Virginia Rice, of Leachville, Ark.; four brothers, Donald Gene Rice, of Mounds, Ark., Terry Wayne Rice, of Manila, Randy Lynn Rice, of Orlando, Fla., and Steven Dwight Rice, of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Linda Lewis and Bertha Fitzgerald, both of Senath, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Rodney Rice, Caron Rice, Kenyon Jennings, Issac Rice, Christina and Andrew Holtsclaw, Jayden Smith, August Ward and Danny Maccune II, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with Rev. Andy Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Rice, Stacy Rice, Junior Ray Massey, Donald Pender, Brian Maccune, Danny Maccune, Christopher Holtsclaw and Graden Lewis.
