Ethel Lee Green, 91, of Springdale, Ark., formerly of Kennett, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Springdale.

Born Sept. 23, 1917, in Hackleburg. Ala., daughter of the late Thomas Claud Gunnin and Annie B. Davis Gunnin, she was a member of the Elmdale Baptist Church.

On Dec. 10, 1938, she married W.L. Green, who survives.

Survivors include her husband, W.L. Green, of Spingdale; one son, Max Green, of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Ann French, of Springdale; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Gunnin, of East, Tenn.; two sisters, Polly Richardson, of Holland, Mo., and Rebecca McGee, of Huntsville, Ala., and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and David Gunnin and four sisters, Willie Mae Rhodes, Willa Henson, Mary Nell Stewart and twin sister, Eva Lee Gunnin.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Ed Jansson and Tom Shaw officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Dennis and Brad Green, Max Green II, Tim French, Elmer Richardson and Dallas Allen.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Kennett.
