Mary Jane Goodwin Cullins, 93, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Friday, May 15, 2009, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born Jan. 28, 1916, in Rives, Mo., daughter of the late Archie Watkins and Lou Octavia Nettles Goodwin, she was a bank teller, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hornersville, Mo., the Hornersville Chapter No 523 Order of the Eastern Star and a Sunday school teacher for 12 years.
On Dec. 28, 1991, in Hornersville, she married Henry Cullins, who preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Hall, Beryl Wilkins and Berenyce Riddick; four brothers, Claude Goodwin, Clyde Goodwin, Aubrey Goodwin and Clifton Goodwin, and a sister-in-law, Velma Goodwin.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Janet McQuay, of Jonesboro, Billy Wilkins, of Summerfield, Texas, Jimmy Goodwin, of Tampa Bay, Fla., Sam Hall, of Flint, Mich., Marion Lou Goodwin, of Dallas, Texas and Butch Goodwin, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Hornersville with Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating.
Burial was in the Horner Cemetery.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
