A Campbell, Mo., woman charged with second-degree murder will appear in court today, after being arrested on Wednesday in the death of her one-month-old infant.

According to Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Steve Sokoloff, Joanna Faucett, 24, was arrested after authorities discovered that the infant appeared to have been strangled to death.

Faucett was incarcerated at the Dunklin County Justice Center on a $100,000 bond, and was set to appear in court in front of Judge John C. Spielman this morning, however due to unknown circumstances, she did not make the 9 a.m. appearance.

A representative from the Dunklin County Justice Center said Faucett will appear later today.

The child was one of a set of triplets, however, according to Assistant Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Jonce Chidister, the other infants were not at the home at the time of the incident.

In July 2008, Faucett had another infant who died at 16-days-old, believed at the time to be due to a co-sleeping incident.

Just a delayed post birth abortion, nothing to see here behind the curtain, move along.

Once society goes down the slippery slope of sanctioning the killing of the unborn, message sent and received, it is inevitable that such will occur.

People who hurts and kills babies and kids should pay for what they did and theres is alot of people that loves kids want kids but cant have any the kids didnt asked to be born so no kids should die kids are so great me and my wife got a babygirl and being a dad is the best thing ever and i dont know why someone would want hurt there kids people that dose dosent need to have kids and me i love kids so much and if i see somebody being mean to a kid then i go off on them so who ever hurts and kills there kids should go tol hell and burn. anybody that kills a child should spend the rest of there life in prison

It's very sad that a young mother would do this,no-one knows what caused this to happen.She had to be under a lot of pressure to push her over the edge.I hope someone can help her to understand why this sad thing happened.I know that god will help an forgive her.I'll say a prayer for her and the child.
