Jimmy Hargett

Jimmy Edward Hargett, 53, of Kennett, died Monday, May 4, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Oct. 6, 1955, in Blytheville, Ark., he was the son of the late Jimmy Mack Hargett and Victoria Jenkins Hargett.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Hargett, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Douglas, Kayla and Dakota McNicholas; one brother, Danny Joe Victor Hargett, of Kennett; one sister, Jonelle, of New Brunfels, Texas and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Lynn Knotts.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, in the Gregory Cemetery with Carolyn Caraway officiating.

Pallbearers are William Oris Ray Ward II, Jeremy Biggs, Aaron Murphy, Douglas McNicholas, Stephen Settlemire and Travis.
