Exell Taylor, 86, of Senath, Mo., died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Heritage Gardens in Senath.
Born Dec. 5, 1922, in Reagan, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Wiliam "Bill" and Amanda Barker Grissom.
On May 5, 1951, in Paragould, Ark., she married Thurman A. Taylor, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Linden Roy Higgins and an infant son, David Higgins; one brother, Bud Grissom and a sister, Edith Alberson.
Survivors include one son, Earl Wayne Higgins, of Hartford, Mich.; one daughter, Shelby Moore, of Senath; one brother, John Grissom, of Michigan; one sister, Inell Albers, of North Point, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with Bro. Chuck Clark officiating,
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael, Eva, Huie, Ron and Corey Higgins, Danny Blevins, Jessie Edgar, Adam Fisher and Lenny Edgar.
