Eva Nell Gaskins, 65, of Wardell, Mo., died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born April 23, 1944, in Winn, Ark., she was daughter of the late Adrian Pickle and Trudell Edwards Pickle.
On June 13, 1959, in Wardell, she married Hershell Gaskins, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Jeff Gaskins, of Wardell; two daughters, Renee Cervantes and husband, Frank, of Caruthersville, Mo., and Sandy Curtis and husband, Steven, of Hayti, Mo.; two brothers, Wayne and Chuck Pickle; six grandchildren, April Gatewood, Casie and Kevin Gaskins, Chelsey and Peyton Curtis and Angel Cervantes, and two great-grandchildren, Abbie and Ayden Gatewood.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at the First Baptist Church in Wardell with Rev. William Quillin and Griff Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Wardell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cecil Lewis, Chris Cooley, Gary Wilson, Roger Traver, Jimmy Swims and James Doyle Miller.
Brimhall Funeral Home of Wardell was in charge of arrangements.
