Paul married Martha Wooten on July 15, 1955, in Marks, Miss., who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Carlis Paul Emmons, of Holcomb; one daughter, Angela Shawn Morgan, of Sardinia, Ohio; one grandchild, Cole Morgan, of Sardinia, Ohio; three brothers, Leo Emmons and wife, Lois, of Holcomb, H.D. Emmons and wife, Anita, of Peach Orchard, Mo., and Darryl Emmons, of Reyno, Ark.; two sisters, Pauline Meade and husband, Bob of Herrin, Ill., and Betty Burgess, of Portageville, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kelly Forrest Emmons; two brothers: Wayne Emmons, and Ossie Emmons, and two sisters, Eula Franklin and Aline Julian.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, April 19, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 20, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Spencer Furby and Leonard Boggs officiating.
Burial was held in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Rodney, Clyde, Jeffery, Larry, Phillip and Keith Emmons.
