Born Nov. 30, 1930, in New Madrid, Mo., daughter of the late James L. Moody and Lorene Raines Moody, she was a member of Ely Baptist Church and was retired from Tri-County Health Care, where she served as a counselor.
Survivors include five sons, Mickey Boatwright and wife, Terry, Daniel Boatwright and Randy Edwards, all of Kennett, Keith Blades, of Houston, Texas and Wade Abrams, of Laurel, Ind.; three brothers, Jerry Moody, of Holcomb, Mo., Jimmy Moody and wife, Donna, of Kennett and Gary Moody and wife, Faye, of Paragould, Ark.; four sisters, Pauline Moore, Shelby Thurman and husband, Donnie and Betty Gattis and husband, Jackie, all of Kennett, and Sue Ballard, of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Boatwright and two sisters, Lou Ella Moody and Clella Moody.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 15, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
