Evon married Larry Wallace on Nov. 29, 1974.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Wallace, of Kennett; two sons, Jamie Potter, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Brian Potter and wife, Carmie, of Rector, Ark.; one daughter: Becky Blankenship and husband, Randy, of Kennett; seven grandchildren, Dustin and Courtney Patterson, Randy Blankenship, Brian Potter, Shara Potter, Rayan Latta, Justin and Sara Potter and Jennifer Potter; expecting great-granddaughter, Lynnlee Kay Patterson; one brother: Jerry Dale Kemp, of Florida; two sisters, Faye Henfling and husband, Jerry, of Kennett, Genail Nelson and husband, Jimmy, of Lepanto, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Diane Potter and Becky Pickney; two sisters-in-law, Deborah Robertson and Patricia Riggs; special family, Southside Baptist Church and other relatives and many friends.
Evon was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. Kemp and Fred Kemp, and mother-in-law, Granny Hollingsworth.
Pallbearers were Hershel Tucker, Carol Moore, Jim Counts, Jim Akers, Blake Bowers and David Patterson.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Potter, Randy Blankenship, Ronnie Hill, Sherrill Potter, Alan Mathis, Dale Rickman and Noel Davis.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Sunday, April 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Bogle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
