Carl Leon "T. John" Kinnision, 66, of Rives, Mo., died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born April 14, 1942, in Holland, Mo., son of the late Joseph Harold and Mazel Jackson Kinnision, he was a retired truck driver, a retired farmer, the mayor of Rives, and a member of the Samford Church of Christ in Holland.
He married Goldie Baugus, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Harper, of Blytheville, Ark., and Onisca Kinnision, of Rives; one son, Joseph H. Kinnision, of Steele, Mo.; one sister, Barbara Decker, of Rives; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 8, at the Samford Church of Christ in Holland with Bro. Ken Roden officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
