Harold Franklin Dalton, 58, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at his residence.
Born Sept. 16, 1950, in Holcomb, Mo., son of Mae Carpenter Dalton and the late Phillip Harold Dalton, he was retired from Emerson Electric, a racecar driver at Malden Speedway, and an avid Nascar fan. He was a member of the Campbell Church of Christ.
On July 4, 1974, in Campbell, he married Mary Keys Dalton, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Carey Dalton, of Kennett; one daughter, Melanie Massey and husband, Jimmy, of Clarkton, Mo.; his mother, Mae Dalton, of Campbell; one grandson, Cannon Dalton Massey, of Clarkton; a twin brother, Gerald Dalton, of Granbury, Texas; four sisters, Phyllis Gregory, of Strafford, Mo., and Lynda Tate, Kathy Pitts and Brenda Philpot, all of Campbell and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Harold Dalton and a great-niece, Ericka Rickman.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 31, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Medlock officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
