Funeral services for Mrs. Mayfus Buck Wilkins were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009, in the Clay Memorial Cemetery at Cuba, Ala. with Rev. Malcolm Lewis officiating.
Mrs. Wilkins a resident of Cuba, and a retired supervisor at a sewing factory was born March 13, 1918 in Hollywood, Mo., and passed away on Thursday, March 26, at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Miss.
She is survived by one son, Bud Buck and wife, Mary, of Hughes, Ark.; one daughter, Linda Miller and husband, Wallace, of Cuba; five grandchildren, Bud Buck and wife, Beth, Anita Smith and husband, Steve, Joey Miller and wife, Gina. Tina Jones and Karen Nolan and husband, Ron; one sister, Sharon Hitt, of Leachville, Ark.; two brothers, Floyd Rose, of Leachville and S.C. Rose, Jr., of Memphis, Tenn.; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandhildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, S.C. and Gladys Rose; her huband, Thomas Edison Buck and several brothers and sisters.
Bumpers Funeral Home In York, Ala., was in charge of arrangements.
