Mable Alice Wicker, 95, of Kennett, formerly of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Aug. 29, 1913, in Bessville, Mo., daughter of the late John and Effie Stevenson Tinnin, she was a homemaker, a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church and a 50 year plus member of Hornersville OES No. 523.
On March 18, 1942, in Hornersville, she married W.C. "Peck" Wicker, who preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1982. She was also preceded in death by one son, Vickie Wicker; two step-sons, Woody and Curtis Wicker; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include three daughters-in-law, Carol Wicker Lefanowicz, of Fenton, Mich., JoAnn Wicker, of Paragould, Ark., and Kathy Wicker, of Flint, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, March 26, at the Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 27, at the Hornersville Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hornersville Cemetery.
