Carolyn Jean Kelley, 54, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at her residence.
Born Oct. 7, 1954, in Kennett, daughter of C.L. Smith and the late Maudie Lorine Burton Smith, she graduated from high school, worked at Emerson Electric in Kennett for 19 years and she later became a registered nurse and worked at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center for 12 years.
On Dec. 29, 1975, in Corning, Ark., she married Homer Kelley, who preceded her in death Nov. 22, 2007. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Curry Dale Smith and one sister, Debbie Darlene Kerley.
Survivors include her father, C.L. Smith, of Piggott, Ark.; two brothers, Eddie Smith, of Kennett and James Smith, of Rector, Ark.; five sisters, Norma McCollom, of Paragould, Ark., Teresa Burrow, of Rector, Ark., Barbara Green and Sheila Lack, both of Piggott, and Rhonda Mansfield, of Campbell, Mo.; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, March 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Primm officiating.
Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jim Rasberry, Albert Jordan, Chris Burk, A.J. Harlan, Danny Tansil and Jackie Weaver.
