Larney McNear, Jr., 81, of Hermondale, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark.
He was a farmer, and a barber.
He was a member of Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ in Blytheville.
Survivors include three daughters, Tonya Thompson, of Kansas City, Mo., Linda F. Clemons, of Gainesville, Fla., and Marilyn Goldsmith, of Clinton, Md.; three sons, Paul McNair, of Pittsboro, N.C., Larney McNear III, of Alton, Ill., and Richard McNear, of Blytheville; three sisters, Katie Henry, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mayola Bradford, of Orlando, Fla., and Shirley Weatherspoon, of Queens, N.Y.; four brothers, Rev. Andrew McNear and Larry McNear, both of Hermondale, Bobby McNear, of PalmDale, Calif., and James McNear, of Des Moines, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, March 6, at the Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ in Blytheville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at Nehemiah Temple of God in Christ with Elder D.L. Corn, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Gethsemane Gardens at Blytheville.
McDonald-Horne Funeral Home of Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
