Born April 20, 1932, in Philadelphia, Miss., son of the late William E. Ferrell and Nettie Crestman Ferrell, he was a U.S. Army veteran.
He married Marie Robinson.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Lee Ferrell, of Paragould, Ark., and William Scott Ferrell, of Kennett; one daughter, Sandy Martin and husband, Fred, of Kennett; his former wife, Marie Ferrell, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Jason Martin and wife, Jenny, JoCarol Decker and husband, Jamie, and Meagan and Christy Ferrell; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Landon Decker and Max and Cooper Martin; two brothers, Billy Ferrell, of New Albany, Miss., and Thomas Ferrell, of Red Banks, Miss., and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Ralph Ferrell and one sister, Corrine Lyles.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 5, in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo., with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Pallbearers are Jamie Decker, Larry Dempsey, Steve Benson, Roger Ferrell, James Michael Ferrell and Mike Mace.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason and Fred Martin, Jimmy Ferrell, Brady Robinson, John Martin and Darrell Roberts.
